Sony has been busy working on a high-production Blu-ray Disc advert, which is set to be released online in the coming weeks. The final cut will include dramatic movie action sequences - all captured in pure laser light. We have some early shots of a battle, set to commence between gladiator warriors and futuristic robo-cops.
We’ll be releasing a couple more snippets over the next few weeks, so keep a close eye on the Museum of Low Res… the clips are rumoured to include some dangerous wild animals and live footage of a dramatic car stunt.
To create the stunning cinematography, the HD filming was carried out within a tall industrial chimney, to ensure the absence of any natural light… in deepest, darkest Hungary! The lighting in the action sequences came purely from lasers, lighting up glimpses of the dramatic action as it unfolds.
